Lobo the Hobo, the travelling letterbox has, ... travelled! If you
have printouts for his old location, they're no longer valid. Being a
railroad man, he prefers sites associated with railroads. Right now,
he's sleeping near the historical site of the 1872 Christmas Eve train
wreck. Where's that? Well, if it was common knowledge, it wouldn't
be a mystery now, would it?

P.S. His traveling companion, Weary Willie the hitchhiker has gone on
his separate way.

I couldn't believe when I saw this reference on the list the other day. We just got done our "Hobo Phil" stamp who is, you guessed it, a railroad hobo! Now we seem like biters! But we're not, I swear! Hobo Phil is named so because he is coming from the Phildelphia area. Maybe he and Lobo will hop on the same train some day and swap stories of the road! For now, Phil is hopping a boat across the pond and is being turned lose on Dartmoor. When he comes home, if he comes home, he will do the postal thing in the US.

Don't worry about it. Great minds think alike, and all.
We took someone out for her first find in Burlington, VT. They have a bridge to nowhere, paid for by their taxes. It really goes nowhere! She thought it would be a great place for a letterbox, and it is. Then we heard of another Bridge to Nowhere LB. It isn't a problem, since it's a common-enough thought, and they're not going to be in the smae room. No one will pussue yopu for copyright infringement, and we all get a kick out of it!
I expected a plethora (at least a metric plethora) of Vagabonds and Hobos, and was amazed there wasn't a Bindlestiff, so I made one. Happy times!
